Series of paintings on fabric stretched on collaged wood

A new series of shaped and tactile canvases using shaped and collaged wood as an image carrier. They have little disruptions in shape or in their ‘flatness’. Each painting of this series has a grid, sometimes very vivid and sometimes it moves to the background. On all these paintings I sat down and drew my ass on it. Abstracting the shape and making it something on its own. All this refers to the ASS-diagnose and difference in cognitive processes. But by also showing my ass, I won’t define myself with this diagnosis but stay true to myself.
