Hello I'm nobody, who are you?

Organhaus in Chongqing
exhibition
2011

The wall installation 'Hello I'm Nobody, who are you?' consists of a neon sign, two fan-folded drawings and a wall drawing. The sentence of the neon sign reads "Hello, I'm nobody and who are you?. This refers to a nearly eponymous poem by Emily Dickinson, which has accompanied me for a while. It deals with the conflict of being somebody, which is related to the drawings of the fanfolds. The simplified faces of the wall drawing dissolve evenly spread in 3 points. Why? Who are you?
